TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW:

SugarHouse Casino will hold a Blackjack Tournament on the casino floor in Pit 3 every Thursday in February. Patrons who wish to participate must have a Rush Rewards Card and valid photo ID. Registration is required. Guests must register at Pit 3 between 5:45PM and 9:45PM in order to participate. SugarHouse will verify during registration that guests are not on the self-exclusion or exclusion listing. This tournament can run with a minimum of 35 players and a maximum of 400 players.

No entry fee will be charged and no coin/currency will be required to participate in the tournament. All promotional play will be conducted through points earned with tournament chips at the game. All participants are competing for points, which will have no cash value.

The promotion will consist of a free blackjack tournament. No entry fee will be charged and no coin/currency will be required to participate in the tournament. All promotional play will be conducted through points earned with tournament chips at the game. All participants are competing for points, which will have no cash value. All points accumulated during play will position the participant in the prize pool.  The blackjack tournament will consist of one round.

Tournament Structure

Round One: 6PM until approximately 10PM

  • 400 Invited Guests expected
  • 4 tables   – 6 per table – A maximum of 10 hands per round
  • Top 10 scores at the end of the round will win a combination of cash and prizes.

Round One will be a “Ready, Set, Go” format. Once there are enough players registered to fill a table, dealing will begin. All players will be given color coded tournament chips with different point values totaling $10,000. All tournament chips accumulated during round one will determine the player’s position. The ten players with the highest point totals out of all the participants in round one will be in the prize pool consisting of cash and prizes.

Settlement of Ties: If there is a tie for any place in the prize pool, a 2 hand “play off” round will be held for all tying Players with the Players receiving $10,000 in tournament chips. All blackjack promotion rules will be followed. At the conclusion of the playoff round, the Player with the highest value of tournament chips will be declared the higher winner. Winners do not have to be present to win. Prizes must be claimed at Rush Rewards within one week of tournament win.

 

A minimum of three (3) players will be required at each table. An expected starting number of 400 players will participate in round one.

 

* At the discretion of the Tournament Supervisor, the top 10 scorers may elect to split the prize money. If so each Player must verbally commit to splitting the prize.
