‘POKER NIGHT IN AMERICA CELEBRITY HOME GAME’ COMES TO SUGARHOUSE CASINO

August 22nd, 2019

Television show features former Flyers and boxing champions

PHILADELPHIA — Aug. 22, 2019 — After its successful debut at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, “Poker Night in America Celebrity Home Game” is bringing its television show to SugarHouse Casino. Former Olympic gold medalist and heavyweight champion Ray Mercer and former Flyers enforcer Todd Fedoruk are just some of the players who will duke it out during four nights of poker, Aug. 26-29.

Celebrity Home Game is Poker Night’s latest iteration of the successful TV series that now features celebrity sports personalities and legendary Las Vegas comedian Vinnie Favorito will host and play in a No Limit Texas Hold’em cash game.

“These shows are my favorite because it’s so fun to listen to these former athletes tell stories and talk trash,” said Celebrity Home Game show creator Todd Anderson. “It’s more of a long-form interview than a poker show. It’s a chance to get to know who these great athletes really are.”

Favorito is the show’s charismatic host who also enjoys playing in the games. He’s known for his high-profile celebrity roasts of notable athletes, as well as his more-than-20-year career as a headlining comedian in Las Vegas.

Celebrity Home Game will be recorded to air on CBS Sports Network later this year. The preliminary lineups are as follows:
